1 Samuel 2:1-2
“My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn (strength) is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. “There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God."
The Cyst: This (turns out) helpful cyst has actually been providing for our littlest tot for 13 weeks. The doctor confirmed that it actually allowed me to become pregnant by releasing the egg to begin with then has been providing the hormones etc that the baby needed. During the original release it left some blood around the baby that has now disappeared. Due to my being 14 weeks though the cyst has done all it needs at this point and is shrinking considerably (from 5.85 to 4.10 to be exact). The doctor has high hopes that we'll be completely cleared before arrival date in May.
The Baby: Our bouncy tot is growing just fine. They're 4 ounces and have a healthy heartbeat of 150.
Sam? Eli?: Well... that will come as a surprise for Christmas. I will find out on the 21st but as for everyone else (including Jon and the kids) it won't be muttered until the 25th.
PRAISE OUR HEAVENLY FATHER FOR HIS WONDEROUS WORKS! He sure can leave you hanging but His purpose and plan is far greater than our weak eyes can see.
Much love,
Amy

10 Weeks 3days
Our smallest Tot is still growing. In fact at our visit today we got to see them dance! Here is their sweet profile...
Prayer Request: I still have a Complex Cyst on my left ovary. The doctors are taking precautions and will be looking at it again in four weeks. From four weeks ago to today it hasn't grown significantly. They don't want to remove it unless it becomes too large or starts complications. We're praying for it to go away on its own or to stay the way it is until our baby is safely out. You can see it in the picture below as the dark circle.

First Grade
Beginning of the year testing is done. Makayla blew it out of the water!! In reading she's expected to be a "2" on their grading scale and Makayla is a 27!!! This is the equivalent of a beginning year third grader. In math she's above average in all areas. We are SO proud!
Tomorrow though, Makayla will be celebrating another achievement. She was given a green slip in school which is awarded to those kids going above and beyond the required behavior rules. She'll be eating with a friend of choice in the "cafe" and her name will be announced over the intercom.
Yes, I believe we have a star on our hands!

Back At It
The blog is back. A few changes. I couldn't remember the password to the previous blog site so I reset it only to find out that Hotmail deleted my e-mail account attached to the blog. Oh well... life goes on.
On to more joyous things!
Baby number three is on its way. I won't be going to my first appointment to hear the heart beat and the first glance at that beautiful baby until the end of September so stay tuned.
Makayla is all about first grade! She's easily one of the best in the class if not top in her class. We are so impressed with how well she's doing in reading at home as well as how she soars through her math. Please be keeping her in your prayers for these last few weeks of testing.
Owen is in another class this year where the teacher's adore him (no shock there). He knows his alphabet song and can almost make it to 20 in his counting! Look out school we've got another genius on our hands!
Jon and I are simply enjoying our lives. We've got a
Our Prayer: Father God, teach us to be quick to love and slow to temper. Guide us through this time of waiting and let us lay rest our "what if" worries. Thank you for your love, thank you for your life. Amen.
In Him,
Amy
